While visiting Bella Coola, we invite you see what's beyond the valley floor with one of our sightseeing flights. From the ground Bella Coola is beautiful but, from the air, the views are spectacular.

TOUR 1: This one-hour tour departs the Bella Coola Valley via the Nusatsum River to Mount Purgatory, across the Ape Icefield to Ape Lake, and on to the Turner Lake chain to circle Hunlen Falls for photographs. You then proceed over the steep switchbacks of the famous "Bella Coola Hill" on Highway 20 and on through the Rainbow Mountains to Thunder Mountain, re-entering the Bella Coola Valley over the Salloompt River.

TOUR 2: This 30-minute tour departs the airport at Hagensborg heading west toward the townsite of Bella Coola and climbs up the Necleetsconnay River to the Talchazoone Lake, across the High Country to Glacier Lake, then down the Noosgulch River to return to the airport. This tour gives an excellent view of the lower Bella Coola Valley.
